Matthew Daugherty – Managing Director
Matt Daugherty is a Managing Director at Alpha Strategies where he is responsible for relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and fund managers.
Matt has over 10 years of experience working in the investment management and securities fields where he has worked with institutional investors and fund managers. Matt started his career with Janus Funds and then became a Senior Financial Research Analyst with Standard’s and Poor’s in the investment services division. He then became a fund analyst with Oppenheimer Funds specializing in fixed income securities.
In 2007 Matt became an associate at R Capital Advisors where he developed a network of institutional investors for private placements. Subsequently he worked for both Continental Investors Services and First Southwest Company where he developed fixed income sales and trading relationships with broker/dealers and RIA’s.
Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He maintains FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 securities registrations.
